With great pleasure, we share that 57 students from Saint Mary's High School and Central Catholic have been fully initiated into the Catholic Church this year. After at least 8 months of active preparation, they have been sealed with the gifts of the Holy Spirit. At the Easter Vigil, 6 Catechumen from Saint Mary’s and 13 from Central received all three Sacraments of initiation at the Easter Vigil. On May 7, at a joint celebration for which both communities together, the remaining 38 young men and women were brought into full communion with the Church.

On April 21, 5th and 6th graders from ten elementary schools across the Diocese of Stockton put their Catholic knowledge to the test at the annual Religion Decathlon, proudly hosted by St. Stanislaus Catholic School. Schools competed in individual, team, and Super Quiz rounds, with high school students from Saint Mary's and Central lending their support throughout the day. Click to read more...
