The Diocese of Stockton has a full-time, non-exempt administrative assistant position available.
This position provides bi-lingual administrative and clerical support for the offices of the Hispanic Apostolate, Hispanic Youth and Young Adult Ministry and Migrant Ministry. Major responsibilities include responding to inquiries in a timely manner, prepares, edits, and proofreads various correspondence, assists with program events, including designing layouts for flyers, etc., assists as backup receptionist for Pastoral Center as needed. Qualifications: high school degree or equivalent, 4-5 years of successful office experience, experience with Excel, Publisher and Microsoft Word, excellent verbal and written bi-lingual skills (English and Spanish). Tribunal Director-Diocese of Stockton Pastoral Center
The Diocese of Stockton is seeking a full-time Director of the Tribunal. (35 hours per week) Primary responsibilities include managing the daily flow of work in the Tribunal (as stipulated in Dignitas Connubii, art. 61 §2), supervising and evaluating its staff, managing documentary and administrative processes, and handling requests for matrimonial dispensations and permissions.
Required Qualifications:
Fully initiated member of the Catholic Church.
Licentiate or doctorate in canon law.
Commitment to the ecclesial vision and mission of Vatican II.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Excellent written communication skills.
Valid California Driver's License.
Knowledge of Spanish is helpful.
