The Catholic Schools Office is seeking a part-time administrative assistant to provide administrative and general secretarial support to the Director for Catholic Schools and Curriculum and Instruction Coordinator. Qualifications include: successful experience working as an administrative assistant; self-motivated with the ability to work independently; excellent computer skills, including working knowledge of Google Workspace and Outlook 365; strong communication skills, both oral and written; high level of organization, ability to manage priorities and multitask efficiently; ability to work in a highly confidential environment; present professionalism as well as a welcoming voice and face to callers and visitors; proven ability to work collaboratively. STAFF ACCOUNTANT - Diocese of Stockton Pastoral Center - Full-Time, Non-Exempt
The Diocese of Stockton has an opening for a Staff Accountant. This position requires the incumbent to manage payroll, investment/bank reconciliations, cash receipts and receivable processes, annual business property statement fillings, fixed assets, and assists in maintaining the general ledger. Assists with the annual audit as well as other tasks as assigned. These functions are performed for several databases.
Demonstrates the ability to maintain the confidentiality of employee personnel files and payroll operations in addition to successful accounting experience with general ledger, accounts receivable, and accounts payable, preferably in a non-profit work environment. Must have a BA/BS or equivalent in accounting, bookkeeping or related field or experience, and have a strong knowledge of MS Excel. This position reports to the Controller.

Major responsibilities include responding to inquiries in a timely manner, prepares, edits, and proofreads various correspondence, assists with program events, including designing layouts for flyers, etc., assists as backup receptionist for Pastoral Center as needed. The Facility Manager supervises all aspects of maintenance to ensure a safe efficient physical plant on a twenty-four-hour, seven day a week basis. In conjunction with the Administrator, the Manager directs and oversees major projects for remodeling and maintaining and improving the physical plant and grounds. The Manager is responsible to supervise and assist with the upkeep and use of parish facilities, furnishings, and equipment including the establishment of long-term facility plans and a preventive maintenance schedule. Supervises and assists with the facility operations and services within a multi-faceted Parish Program. Coordinates the day-to-day maintenance, operation and usage of all parish and school facilities. YOUTH MINISTER - FULL-TIME OR PART-TIME - Presentation Church
This position implements the parish’s commitment to total youth ministry in a comprehensive manner. Youth Ministry’s overall goal is to evangelize youth in five ways: formation, fellowship, liturgy, service, and family life. A high degree of interpersonal skills is necessary including the ability to recruit and motivate new teen and young adult catechists.
