Pro-Marriage & Family Culture

The Mision to change the culture of our parishes, schools and ultimately the entire Church to be Pro-Marriage & Pro-Life stems from the California Bishops 
Radiate Love initiative. Our Bishops are exhorting us to be who God calls us to be in embracing marriage and family as the structure of our Church built on the foundation of Jesus Christ. There are three facets to this mission in the Diocese of Stockton. 

1. Integrate remote and proximate marriage preparation in Catholic Education, catechesis, sacramental prep, liturgical celebrations and everyday conversations.
2. Celebrate and promote marriage as the vocation of a man and a woman establishing a partnership of the whole of life ordered toward the good of the spouses and the procreation and nurturing of children in building the domestic church.
3. Support families with prayer, friendship, helping hands, encouragement, enrichment resources, counseling.
