The copyright holders of the liturgical and biblical texts used for Mass and the other sacraments have policies on when permission or royalties may be required.

The obligation to participate at Mass on Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation has been reinstated as of June 27th, 2021. For further information on the obligation, please visit the link.

The guidelines for Mass and other liturgies have been updated in light of the updated state and CDC guidelines.

As the pandemic recedes and restrictions are lifted, dioceses have begun to reinstate the obligation for Catholics to participate at Mass on Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation. In advance of this reinstatement for our diocese (date TBD), Bishop Cotta wants all the faithful to be reminded of the basics of this obligation, why we have it, and the importance of the Sunday Eucharist.

On May 1, 2021, Pope Francis added seven new invocations to the Litany of St. Joseph. The official English translation has been released by the USCCB, and may be viewed at the link.
