The Training Manager coordinates and assists parishes and church organizations in the implementation of the training components of the Bishops' Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People (See Articles 6, 12, and 13 of the Charter). The Training Manager is also responsible to effect the Charter provisions concerning a Code of Conduct, and background checks for clergy, seminarians, lay employees, and volunteers. Additionally, the Training Manager provides consultation to parish leaders (and leaders in other Church organizations) within the diocese to help them achieve implementation of the Charter’s provisions.
